God’s still in control….

We had a follow up appointment with our Springfield doctor and told him the good news…no bone marrow transplant. He was shocked and concerned and asked for our doctors number in St. Louis. When he left the room my biggest fear was that the two doctors would disagree, and then who do we listen to? Blake suggested maybe Barnes didn’t have all the information. I said that was absurd. He’s always right. SO-it turns out they didn’t have a very important part of the test results-the part that has a number on it that tells them that “this person absolutely needs a transplant”. We decided that we will do our consolidation in Springfield since we will end up being in St. louis for the transplant for a month.  This isn’t our favorite outcome, but God knows what we need better than we do and we trust Him.

PLEASE PRAY:

*that one of my siblings is a match

*that we can get the transplant asap-they are hoping for a month

  1. I’m very sorry to hear this Heather. You’re right. God knows what we need. It’s better that it’s caught now. Your blog is inspiring. Will be praying for you.

  2. May God lead that perfect match to you and be with you every step of the way. Sorry this has changed your plans — just one long stay in St. Louis instead of several short ones. Glad you can be closer to home for your treatments for now. God and Wonder Woman still have this!

  3. Dear Heather, You are in our daily thoughts and prayers. We are praying for one of your siblings to be a perfect match. We are calling forth those things that are not as though they are, believing and receiving for your complete healing. In Jesus, you are highly favored, greatly blessed and deeply loved. Blessings, Lalit and Anju
