update

So i had an appt with my oncologist yesterday. Good news-my blood levels are all “normal” for now. That means a few exciting things can happen: i can go in public without a yellow mask, i can eat fresh fruit and vegetables, and most importantly it means that I can start my next round of Chemo as soon as I want. I chose Monday. Let’s get this party started ( and over)!

I will be in the hospital ( probably feeling pretty good) mon-fri next week. When my blood counts recover after that ( about 2 weeks out) they will do a bone marrow biopsy and send it to specialists in Washington. If there are any traces of Leukemia left at that point we will start the transplant process. If it’s clear, we will do 2 or 3 more rounds of Chemo and call it a day. My prayer is that if I will EVER need a transplant it will present itself at that time. I would rather not wait 3 yrs and have the leukemia come back and do it then. However, God is in charge and isn’t really asking me what I prefer ( but I will keep bugging him about it until he says “no”. Feel free to join me). Love you all and thanks for continued prayers. We aren’t out of the woods yet.
