I have some things to share but today my thoughts and mind is cloudy. So-just a quick, cloudy comment on something i read this morning. It helped me remember that I am not expected to carry my burdens on my own (I am not ACTUALLY Wonder Woman….Shhhhhh).
Psalm 55:22 says, Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you. Or another version says to ROLL thy BURDEN upon the Lord.. It is helpful to note that we can ROLL something that is too heavy to carry or cast. Now THAT i think i can do. I have just enough strength to roll it. Oswald Chambers says, “ROLL thy burden upon the lord-you have been bearing it all; deliberately put one end on the shoulders of God. If we try to do work FOR God and get out of touch with HIM, the sense of responsibility will be overwhelmingly crushing: but if we ROLL back on God that which He has put upon us, He takes away the pressure and sense of responsibility we torture ourselves with and replaces it with a loving, grace-filled, intimate relationship with Him.
Our theme oughta be the motto stuck to the back of my nephews wheelchairs:
THAT’S HOW WE ROLL!!!!
I like that. Rolling is so much easier when we are weak or tired.
Think of you often heather and pray for you daily. Love reading your posts Will be seeing your brother tomorrow at 7 am. Hes helping us with a project as Alan is not able.
