It’s all a GET TO

I will check in later, but for now, a reminder:

“It’s all a GET TO.” I GET to sit inside all day and receive blood. I GET to have Chemo one more time. I GET TO I GET TO I GET TO…because i didn’t DIE when I came in the hospital with 100,000 white blood cells and I didn’t DIE when I couldn’t breath and had to be intubated and had a serious bowel infection in ICU and well, I didn’t DIE yesterday from anything else. And either did you…It’s all a GET TO.

  1. Hi Heather, this is Lanny. I get to. Go in on the 26 th for my last round of chemo!!!!! I have mixed emotions I feel the battle is active and I am winning, chemo is a great drug. I owe my life to it. But now what? Is the battle over did I win? Tick tock…….. Hang in there! Keep your chin up. Keep blogging.

  2. Praying this for you and for myself as I too whine about many things, those that are not even close to what you are experiencing. Thank you for reminding me that, “I GET TO” do my family’s laundry and “I GET TO” get out of bed and not sleep the day away, etc., etc. From todays daily devotion:

Prayer: Lord, give me the patience to wait upon Your timing for my life. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

“The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride” (Ecclesiastes 7:8).
